Prenatal Care That Feels Different
Prenatal visits are comprehensive and relaxed. We take time to review labs, nutrition, emotional wellbeing, and preparation for labor. Education is woven into every visit so you feel informed and confident as your pregnancy progresses.
There are no waiting rooms. No rushed 10-minute appointments. Just thoughtful, individualized care in a familiar setting.
Birth Support
Labor can be intense. Our role is steady presence. We monitor carefully, communicate clearly, and support physiologic birth while maintaining safety as a priority.
Home birth does not mean anti-hospital. We maintain collaborative relationships with area hospitals and participate in transfer committees to ensure seamless communication if higher-level care is needed.
Postpartum Care
Care does not end at birth. We provide in home postpartum and newborn support in the early weeks, helping you transition into parenthood with confidence.

Home Birth
We specialize in home birth, offering comprehensive prenatal, birth, and postpartum care. Our care includes guidance through concerns, access to testing, nutritional support, and close monitoring to ensure the health of you and your baby. If a complication arises, we are here to guide and support you through the next steps with compassion and clarity.
What’s Included:
- Free 1 hour consultation
- Scheduled prenatal appointments following a typical prenatal schedule (monthly until 36 weeks, then weekly until birth)
- Care through labor and birth
- 6-8 weeks of Postpartum support
- Breastfeeding assistance
Cost:
- Global Fee: $6,500
- Insurance billing options available
- Flexible payment plans offered
Labor Doula Support
What’s Included:
- Free 1 hour consultation
- 2 prenatal visits (approx. 1-2 hours each) to educate and create a birth plan
- 1-2 postpartum visits as needed to process the birth and breastfeeding support
- 24 hour phone availability throughout pregnancy for urgent questions
- 24 hour on-call for labor and birth starting at 36 weeks
Cost:
- $2500
- OHP coverage may be an option depending on availability
Postpartum Care
Do you wish you could have your provider come to you but were unable to have a home birth or a midwife for other reasons? We can provide in home appointments to supplement your care.
- $200 per visit
- $550 for 3 visits or $850 for 5 visits
- This is often not covered by insurance.
Postpartum Doula Support
In home Postpartum Doula support. This is different than midwifery care, we offer no medical advice or supervision in this role. We focus on basic baby care, feeding/lactation support, household chores (dishes, taking trash out, light cleaning, cooking/meal prep, and emotional support). We are experts in breastfeeding, baby care, and postpartum support.
- $40/hour (minimum 4 hours)
- Postpartum Herbal Bath (ask us for details)
Supplemental Prenatal Care for planned Hospital Birth
If you’re looking for a midwives approach to prenatal care but are planning a hospital birth.
- Free 1 hour consultation
- We will work with you to create a personalized plan. The plan we customize for you determines the cost.
- This can range from $2500-6000 depending on your needs and insurance coverage.
- OHP will cover prenatal care with a midwife even if you don’t meet low risk standards for a planned home birth
Placenta Encapsulation
- $300
- Pick up and delivery
- Cord keepsake
- Instructions for use and storage recommendations
- Placenta prints, and/or photos included upon request.
How Insurance Billing Works
- We work with a professional biller who advocates directly for you. You will pay the biller directly for her services (separate from our fee, approx $50-350). She will verify your benefits and handle all insurance claims.
- We are not in-network with any private insurance companies, but many insurance plans cover a percentage of homebirth care at an Out of Network rate.
- Outside services (like labs and ultrasounds) can often be billed directly to your insurance at no additional cost.

OHP- We do accept OHP, although there are criteria that we have to follow. Let us know if you have OHP and we will help you determine your coverage. We currently bill OHP ourselves and don’t require you to hire a biller.
